These chicks are hatched from eggs that we set to check fertility rates, and during the time we are sorting our breeding pens. During the winter months, all of our chickens live in 1 coop together. These chicks are classified as barnyard mixes as we cannot guaretee that they are of pure stock, and likely are a mix of breeds that were not intentional.
 
Parent breeds consist of:
Welsummer
Ameraucana (Wheaten , Blue and Mauve)
Polish (Cuckoo and Golden laced)
Hmong
Olive Egger
And a few other mixes that we do not breed for, but are honorary members of our flock.
